Panels set up to speed education overhaul, NATION
Deputy Prime Minister Pongpol Adireksarn yesterday set up six subcommittees to speed up restructuring of the Education Ministry to meet the October 1 deadline when bureaucratic reforms will take effect. Pongpol said the subcommittees must finalise their work by September 30, ahead of the deadline. He chairs the committee responsible for the ministry's restructuring. "We will convene four meetings to keep up with progress," he said.
